Rayovac continued its strong tradition as the world leader in hearing aid battery innovation at the recent AudiologyNOW! 2011 convention. The focus of this year’s convention was captured in a theme of "Innovation to Implementation", and Rayovac’s product news played well with this theme. The conference, held at the well known McCormick Place in Chicago, reported record attendance with an increase of almost 7% over the 2010 event.
Introduced at the show, Rayovac’s NEW Mercury Free Cochlear product delivers 38% more power than the previous design. This powerful new cell is also Mercury Free, a requirement in the states of Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island by July 1, 2011.
In addition to the news on high performance Cochlear batteries, Rayovac also focused on its second generation of Mercury Free hearing aid batteries.
